As far as I remember , few months ago, there was no support for point sprites in Proton. Is this still one of "Proton laws" or is not? Or... how, may I turn on this extension for proton?

Well, the linearparticle system does support point sprites but it's only enabled for iOS because, like you said, I don't really know about the extension thing. (if RT_USE_POINT_SPRITES is defined, it tries to use point sprites via glEnable(GL_POINT_SPRITE_OES);)

However, not sure if you're aware, but I did recently revamp the particles to use the global batcher when I added Flash support (it now draws them in a single gl call) when not using point sprites, so they are actually very fast without point sprites these days, and insure compatibility with all video chips.

I see... I will check it in free time. I noticed very big fps drop for Tegra devices while rendering particles (but it was with old demo), so I will update post after tests.
