They are forum moderators (redink was involved with Dink, Aki is involved with Proton SDK) but not Tanked moderators. It's a little confusing because "Super Mod" is the same name in both.

Well, the mod selection system is kind of vague, but when mods are needed (like, if current ones are too busy to play, or it's too much work for the existing mod team) then existing mods recommend candidates, and if all the other mods say "yeah, that person would be good, I've seen him/her around and he/she is a good sport and won't abuse the powers" than we ask them if they want to do it.

People who've been previously banned for bad behavior are of course disqualified. :ninja:
