View Full Version : Getting close

Ok, just a little update, one last beta is going to go out today and that is probably it before the real release.

The last beta was GOING to be it but at the last minute I added some really cool stuff:

* POP3 mail checking action, it 'tells' you when you got mail and can read who it's from and the subject. (unlimited mailboxes supported)
* The Say/Show Message action is now the Say/Show/Email Message action - You can send email notification to pagers/cellphones
* Hotkey to show/shrink to tray quickly
* You can copy with right click from the activity log now

One thing I would suggest is that you add an ad banner somewhere on the program and have it show up when it's locked so that to remind the user to register. After all, it is a great product! - the logic if statments oh well

The features under +++ FEATURES +++ is blinking in netscape. I would have said something sooner but I didn't know about this. Anyway while I get added to the credits ;)

Maybe you could have it reload the main screen when you close a sub panel?

In the Event Properties, http://www.rtsoft.com is used as the default url. I'd suggest using $LAST_COMPARE_URL$ instead. Also, I think that by default a message box should pop up in addition to the computer saying the page was updated. Reason why is because not all computers have speakers or have them on all of the time.

I number of times today while I was surfing a websites, my computer has said "Hey, shouldn't you take a break about now? Stretch a little and rest your eyes.". I'm not sure if that's should happen or not.

Ok, this should happen it's a default event that comes installed. I'll add a "How can I make it stop telling me to take a break" thingie in the faq.

Also: There is a problem with getting bogus mouse messages that is screwing up the inactivity timer, it has been fixed though. (i'll probably release another beta with it fixed)

Yeah, I figured that was it. At first I thought that it was saying that I was working too hard and that I needed to take a nap.

I upgraded the program today and it still tells me that I need to take a break when I'm doing something so there might still be a bug in that or else it really means that I've worked too hard today. Anyway, thats all to report for now.
