i'm curious... how much would you be willing to pay for Dink 2 especially if it's 10xbetter than the first? this goes for anyone else reading the post too... (Seth has bills to pay too)

Would you, "dinkers", depart with $30 bucks for a new adventure of Dink fun&joy&splendor? Or would more of you depart with $20 without hestitancy?

just wondering...

well i would certainly pay for dink smallwood. i loved the game and it would still work out cheaper than buying any game for the pc.

id gladly pay for dink 2, that is of course, if it is, as you say, 10 times better, and if i had a spare $30 (i am currently... seeking a job) i would pay $30 without hessitation

fyi--In order to reduce the spread of excessive rumors, to my knowledge, Dink 2 does not currently exist... my earlier posted question is speculative.

How about just starting a Dink 3? It would kinda be like a hitchiker's guide thing (trilogy of two). LOL

Would you pay for an epic MOD, that is a total conversion?

If the demo was really good, and it was reasonably priced, then yeah.

Why not make Dink 2 in a style similar to "Might and Magic" or "Ultima Underword" using a modified and updated version of the Teenage Lawnmower engine.

1. I would pay $60 for a dink 3D or something

2. SimonK, I havent played an epic that was as good as the the original in my opinion, and the first dink came with dinkC and everything, an epic's just a DMod

3. Hitchhikers guide is a trilogy of five, not two

4. Seth, where in hiroshima are you guys located?

We're actually about an hour east of hiroshima in a place called Fukuyama.
