    hi
I wanted to know for what age on the dink smallwood is recommended.
Myself, I love the game but my son is just 9 years old and quite a sensitive one...
I am just afraid he is not old enough for this kind of role games.

thanks in advance for your comments on that.

TLM doesn't have an official rating, but I've placed this disclaimer on the TLM docs and info:

Contains violence and some mature themes that may not be suitable for some children.

I'd say it's comparable to PG13 at the theatres, but would probably be an MA17 rating in the game world.

Um... he was talking about Dink, not TLM, Seth

I wouldn't recommend a 9 year old play Dink; there's just a bit too much 'bad stuff' you can do (i.e. killing ducks, killing dink's uncle, killing the little girl in Stonebrook, killing ethel's duck, hitting on dink's aunt, etc).

    Whups.. yep, what redink said.

Maybe if you played it *with* him and explained parts it would be ok though.

Ha ha, Pap! I can attest to that... that's what sold Dink! Hope all is good.

Hm, my son was 6 when we first started playing Dink.
He was kinda currious and didnt liked the blood at first, still doesn't when I kill a duck, but I agree with Seth that it is recomended to sit next to him when he play's the game. After all its a very agressive game.
