I like the automatic shadow generation in Novashell, but would it be feasible to have a setting (either globally or per entity) to set a shadows direction?

A Length parameter would be awesome, but I kind of figure that wouldn't work well without making things look mighty distorted given current methods..

Also, would it be possible to just have a solid shadow color with an alpha value? That dithering effect works okay in some situations, but if for instance the shadow were being cast onto snow, it'd just look sort of dirty. Being able to cast a blue color that has a proper alpha setting would really look great.

Just a couple of thoughts. I'm sure theres more important features to implement first.
