Thread: problem with d-mods    HELP!!!!!

    hi can anyone tell me how to play the d-mods,ive tried everything but cant get them to appear in my dink front end drop down box please help before my pc goes through a nearby window.

    Hmm... what does it list in the Dink Frontend? If it just shows 'dink', then you're installing the D-Mods incorrectly. If it shows some weird directores that don't seem to have anything to do with Dink, try running Dink Smallwood by itself, close it, then try going back into the frontend.

    well in my dropdown box it says develop,sound,story,tiles graphics,island(2) and mystery island ver1,00, any ideas?

    Hmm, it sounds like you're installing the D-Mod directly into the Dink directory, instead of into its own sub-directory. So if you've been extracting, say, Stone of Balance to c:\program files\dink smallwood\ , instead extract it to c:\program files\dink smallwood\sob\. For another d-mod, replace the 'sob' with whatever the name of the d-mod is.
