    Default problem with PNG's

    Hi

On an older pc i have here, my PNG's appear to be almost like 8 bit graphics and the transparent bit of them is sky blue and not transparent!

has anyone any ideas on this?

    thanks

I am assuming that you are using Clanlib 0.8.1.

2 Possibilities that I can think of:

    1) The PNG is a 256 grey scale png or a format that is not 32 bit depth RGBA / RGB format. There was a bug in 0.9 in the handling of these png's (this has now been fixed), it is possible that 0.8 contains the same bug? Ensure the PNG is saved as RGB or RGBA format.

    2) You mention that it is an old pc ... It is possible that it's so old that it can only display 16 bit color or less - not 24 bit color. Giving the opengl driver problems
