I keep seeing hits to /fq/server.dat on my normal (port 80) http server. Is it possible this is coming from FQ on port 82? The number of hits in a day can be as high as 5574 hits (that averages out to once per 15.5 minutes). This started happening on June 8. The hits always come from my public address (which means the hits are from inside my local network).

I am not running any mods to the 0.94 version.

I can forward more info in needed.

    Talking

Yes, this must be coming from FQ.

Any recent network changes that would cause it to not hit www.rtsoft.com and hit locally instead?

    Question

Two things changed around that time.

    1. Changed from a Linksys to a DLink DI-641+ wireless router.
    2. Had to rebuild the NT 4.0 server. Motherboard gave up the ghost.

Not sure if NT is set up exactly the same way it used to be. I don't think I put RRAS back on it.

    I do not play locally.

License seems to work fine. Ping works from the server...

    Unhappy

Hmm. I've been having some weird issues with the license server and have put in a big upgrade today that seems to fix some problems with it losing winsock messages - I wonder if it could somehow be related?

If it continues to happen, I'm at a loss. Perhaps some kind of weird network reflection thing.

    Still does it.

They come in pairs. One hit is 136 bytes followed by 143 bytes. It's doing it every 31 seconds.
