    Hi,
We are running version .93 in tournament mode and it's been stable as a rock for months.

Then with the beginning of this new tournament we started getting Winsock error 10048: bind() error and no one can play. When you go to log in it says the server isn't done initilizing. New days don't start and the server doesn't respond.

I have changed the port number (haven't used 80 because it is in use already), restarted the game and forced new days but nothing is working.

    What's going on?

    Any help appreciated!

Hrm, just curious, what version of Windows are you using?

That bind error most likely means the port it's attemping to use IS in use - check the configuration carefully, it may still be set to 80?

Try changing it, from whatever it is, and also look for another FQ instance running, that would also give the bind error.

    We are running Win 2k.

I've changed the port a couple of times to no avail. I'm sure it isn't set to 80 and there doesn't seem to be another session open.

I know the error is telling me the port is already in use but dang if I can find by what.

    Thanks for the responses!

Two sessions of Apache... found it and everything works ok now.
