How to change your Tanked password

Hey guys,

99% of the time when someone's Tanked account is "hacked" it's because they shared their password with someone, and the other 1% is because they used an easy to guess password.

A good password is a word (or two) + some numbers, like "apple6293" or something. A bad password is using your TankID, or something simple like "tank" or whatever.

Have a bad password and want to fix it?

Update from Junior: In the event that you can no longer access the email account you singed up with, please email Seth the following information:

• The last IP address you played on
• Your current password
• Your old email (even though it doesn't work)
• Your new email to change it to

Send the info to support@rtsoft.com ONLY use this method if you cannot access your old email address. Please title your email appropriately, such as "Tanked Password Change".

Currently the only way I can easily change names is by using the "namelock" penalty, which I shouldn't as it causes other problems.

So wait a bit, maybe I can add a better way later

i play tanked on my ipod and im ***udge. i have lost thousands of cp because right before or during a game, the app will crash and i try to get on again and it says ther is already someone on that acount. so if you could help in someway with that, that would be great... o and.... GO DEZZLES

this only happens about 3-4 times a day though. but i still lose 150cp plus when it happens.

I noticed you don't have a TankID. It's possible there are two devices with the same unique fingerprint, and you are kicking eachother off. First thing to do is convert to a TankID account.

if i put in my tank id will it lose all my cp? and also if i put my tank id into multiple acounts will it keep my cp in each acount. will i have the same id and cp on both of my acounts? (i have and acount on my droid and ipod.)

You'll never lose cp or anything when putting in a tank ID, or logging on with multiple tankID's from the same device. It keeps track and treats each account separately. When you convert an account to a TankID, but then logon WITHOUT the tankID, it actually creates a new account for the new non-tankID account.

There is another thread about this, I thought it might be fun to have special events which force you to use a specific Tank. But it won't be an all-the time thing as that would shaft people who've supported the game by buying tanks.

Hmm, maybe the certain tank only room should be free to enter, but the catch is, if you win, you get a whole lot less cp
than you should normally (Ex. 20 normal vs. like 5 special)

Besides I would love to test the fatty, skull, and rtsoft areas. Although the skull area might be tough to get a lead...

BTW, the platform thing is bad. I can't use my iPad anymore, so my chances of winning are slimmer be cause my last connection to Tanked is
