I really enjoy playing the different games that are on the net and I have always been courious on how the programmers make games. How can someone like me, with no programming experience learn to create a game. I have many ideals for one but I don't have a clue on how to create it.

Game programmer is notoriously tricky, but game design is even more elusive. Consider creating a game without a computer at all. For instance, you could create a version of Funeral Quest with just paper, pencils and some dice (and maybe a deck of cards). Dink Smallwood is a role playing game, the likes of which were being played on paper long before PCs were a common household applicance.

For tips on game design, use google. Pick a spot and dive in. Don't be afraid to fail, because that's part of learning. Creating an original game is hard and birthing one that doesn't suck is rarer still.

After a while, you'll realize that creating the game is the game (at least for you).

    Good luck.
